I have been re-watching the Beastmaster TV show. I used to love it when I was in high school, and it's been a blast from the past. It's such a cheesy TV show, but I love it all the same.

So my dad ripped off the wallpaper in the dining room and painted it with primer yesterday. It made me cranky all day yesterday because the fumes made my head hurt. I had wanted to get more of my Zuko outfit done yesterday, but I just couldn't concentrate. *sigh*

Anyway, here's what I'm working on:


In the screenshots I have, the top part is more brown than green, so that's what I'm using. I made the light brown under garment last year when I originally wanted to make it for Katsucon, but didn't finish because I felt burnt out. When thinking about what I should make for AAC, I decided to finish this, especially since I had all the materials anyway. I'm also glad I waited because I have a better sewing machine and I can use appliqué for the cloud designs. I'm also using the technique for the trim because I think it works better with the fact that there's a black trim and then a yellow one. All in all, it's coming along nicely, but it's painstakingly slow because of the method I chose. :/

So here's what I have to do before next weekend:
- Add the cloud designs to the top garment
- Finish applying the black layer of trim to the top garment
- Apply the yellow trim
- Hook and eye for the front flap
- Need to make the belt
- Figure something out for the shoes

What's done?
- Bottom garment
- Base for the top Garment
- The cloud designs

So I have been hearing a lot about Aion since it came out. Thing is, I'm not hearing in-depth opinions on it. I refuse to play WoW because I am a natural obsessor and am too afraid I'll start ignoring my real life to play it. LOL. Not that likely, but I'm not risking it. Hubbs played WoW for less than 6 months before he ran out of stuff to do/obtain and got bored with it and quit.

Hubbs' friend lent us his cd, but we still need to cough up $50 for a cd key and we're not willing to do it without significant understanding of the game [since we can't try it out].

So, here's what I'd like to know from those of you who play/played Aion.

- Similarities to WoW
- Differences from WoW

Changing "Blonde Moment" to 'Dumb Moment'.

Apperently, I offended people. I would like to say that I did not mean to offend anyone by saying this, and that I don't actually think blondes are 'dumb'.

I'm just used to the saying 'blonde moment'. Sorry.

I was playing Legend of Zelda Windwaker with my lil bro. I was in some kinda forest-ish island. Well there's this one little island next to that place that makes statues of pictures that you take with your Pictobox.

The only way to get to that island is a long, complicated process of going from one plant to the next and next, going to the edge of the Forest Island, and using a special leaf to float from that island you're on, to there.

That is till you get a ladder right when you first visit.

I, even though I have used this ladder to climb DOWN from the Picto Island, did not think ONCE "Hey, I can use this to go UP the island."

I kept using the long annoying process and take the ladder as an exit, never occuring to me that I can use it as an entrance.

Could of been a real time saver.

You know those experiments in which lab rats are trained to press a lever or pedal in order to get a piece of food? Hold that thought.

Jackson is a trash dog. He just loves trash. Any trash. Coffee filters, paper towels, orange rinds, used dental floss, empty pill bottles and toothpaste tubes, old toothbrushes, and all sorts of unsavory things. We got very tired of picking trash up off the bathroom floor, so we purchased a covered wastebasket, the kind with the pedal you step on to open the lid. See where I'm going with this?

Yes, Jackson, at age one, somehow figured out that pedal and now there's trash everywhere again. Why couldn't we adopt a dumb mutt?

IF. I mean IF, I ever have money.

I would create a scholarship that requires groups of students to jump through every fire hoops imaginable, interview with people that has nothing to do with the scholarship, enough essay to last their lifetime, and with requirements PAGES long but only one could get the money.

And they THEN have to use that money to pay me for the housing that I'm requiring them to live in while they do free work.

BRILLIANT.
